About the Camp
Facilities
Campers attending SLCC are housed in 14 cabins (7 cabins for boys and 7 cabins for girls). Each cabin is capable of accommodating 10 campers, plus counselors. All 14 cabins are situated around a common Dining Hall. Boysí Cabins One and Two as well as Girlsí Cabins One and Two, which are utilized by the younger campers, have their own bath facilities. Bathhouses for the other campers are located in close proximity to the cabins. Additional buildings include a multi-purpose pavilion (which is capable of seating over 300), the Camp Store (canteen), an Arts and Crafts Shed, the Nurse's Station and the Director's Cabin. SLCC offers swimming, basketball, kickball, softball, volleyball, horseshoes and a playground area to campers.
Our Staff
Christian young (as well as older) men and women make up the counselor staff, Bi-ble teachers, and leaders at SLCC. All members are dedicated to the church of Christ as revealed in the New Testament.
Number of Campers
Please note that we can only accept 140 (70 girls, 70 boys) per week. Campers WILL be turned away once that number has been reached.
