SLCC Day 2008 a Success!
SLCC Day 2008 was a great success thanks to you! Camp was able to raise over $12,000 because of you and your efforts! You might ask what this money is for? Camp tuition that is paid by the campers for a week of camp is a break even set up for the camp. In other words, tuition pays for your store break items, food, electricity, water, cooks, life guards, etc. It takes care of your expenses while at camp. Therefore, for the improvements around camp that you see from year to year to take place, we must have fund raisers and rely on donations from individuals and churches. That is where you have helped! This money will go to improvements around camp that makes your week more enjoyable. Thanks for all your help and remember camp throughout the year, not just once a year!
Session 3 won the challenge this year and will receive a special surprise during their week of camp in 2009! Congratulations to Session 3!!!
